Two smaller 8-litre bins for food waste and the like, and two large 17-litre bins for whatever builds up most, all tidied away behind a single drawer front instead of standing around the kitchen.

Each bin has its own lid, including an odour-sealing food waste lid, so nothing smells in the drawer. And because every bin lifts out individually, you can carry it straight to the wheelie bin: no decanting, no spills.

You don't need to remodel your kitchen to make it tidy. The eins2vier simply sits in your existing drawer. No drilling, no screws, no damage to the cabinet or front. That makes it the ideal retrofit system for practically any kitchen with a 60 cm wide drawer.

Everything stays in place as you open and close the drawer. The base plate has fixing nubs that hold each of the four bins exactly where it belongs. No bin tips over or slides around, even if you shut the drawer with a bit of force, and nothing rattles against anything else. To empty or clean them, you lift the bins out one at a time, and afterwards they click firmly back into place in a single move.

The glass-fibre reinforced carry handles are more than just handles. They clamp the edge of the bin bag in place, so it doesn't slip down into the bin and no bag hangs over the rim. To empty a bin, you grab the same handle, lift the bin out and carry it to the wheelie bin. Changing the bag takes seconds, and the handles hold up reliably even when the bins are full.
